The history of
the Jagdhof

2001-2002

The hotel becomes a trio after the construction of two new buildings during conversion and extension from November 2001 to October 2002: the current Jagdhaus with its restaurant and rooms, the main Gutshaus building with reception, bar, seminar facilities and rooms, as well as the Hüttererhaus with the wellness and fitness area and additional rooms.

1994

The hotel is destroyed by a fire, but rebuilt in its original form with some additional facilities.

1970

Originally a 17th century farmhouse, the complex is completely redeveloped and has been run as the Jagdhof ever since.

1967

The passionate hunter Adolf Vogel converts the Vorauhof, which he purchased in 1960, into the Jagdhof with a restaurant and his significant personal hunting museum.

17th century

The Jagdhaus building is a huge farmhouse belonging to the outbuildings of the Schloss Fuschl hunting residence in the estate of the Salzburg archbishops.
